Charter - Hoover, Homewood, Vestavia Network Upgrade
Charter Communications® is committed to offering its customers the most reliable cable, high-speed Internet and telephone service in the state of Alabama.
Beginning February 1st, 2008, Charter is is investing to make improvements to the network in Hoover Homewood and Vestavia Hills. This upgrade will also provide the additional bandwidth needed to launch new products and services such as additional High Definition channels and Internet speeds faster than our current 5 and 10MBPS products!
Charter technicians will be working on this upgrade in Hoover, Homewood, and Vestavia Hills Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm ET, in order to avoid system downtime during weekends. In an effort to proactively inform customers of work being performed in their neighborhood, a door tag will be placed on resident's doors notifying the resident of the dates and hours that work will be performed in their area.
Charter's goal during this upgrade is to minimize customer impacting service and technical issues. However, there may be times when customers experience temporary service interruptions or signal degradation. In the event you experience service issues over a weekend period, please contact Charter at 205-824-5417 so that your issue may be resolved in a timely fashion.
